For the first time ever, Carnival 2018 invited local traders to take part in a Window Dressing Competition with the chosen Carnival theme: WATER WONDERLAND!
Over 35 shops entered the competition which ran from 21st May-11th June. From sea creatures to beach scenes and much more, the ideas were mind blowing! Judging took place on Saturday 9th June by the Town Mayor, Trevor Wenman, ex Carnival Committee member, Doreen Collins and Junior Good Citizen, Kieran Murphy. It was a difficult decision but the winning window was awarded to Gloria Rowe from Albright Crafts of Diss on St Nicholas Street.
